“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is all we’ve got, it’s a gift that’s why it’s called the present.” ~ Master Oogway
Have you been caught up lately overly ruminating on the past mistakes/failures? Or stuck in the future that you ignore the present ? 😐
That’s a very relatable picture for me. One thing I just didn’t fancy about it was having to still feel some of the guilt and shame from the past . And overly worrying about the future while postponing joy and happiness till some time in the future; hence ignoring present joy and happiness . This wasn’t a good place to be at all 😑
I remember someone once said that yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is all we’ve got, it’s a gift that’s why it’s called the present 🎁 🙂
This quote along with some other experiences changed my perspective on time and got me curious about being present in the moment. For me this practice has been a great way to enjoy and appreciate every moment of every day, knowing fully well that once time passes, it can never come. Time ⏳️ This is how precious and valuable each moment is.
As we enter a new week, how can you be more intentional about being present in the moment? 🤔 (e.g. When you in solitude, when you’re spending time with friends et family, etc how can you be there fully i.e. body, mind et spirit ?)
That’s how we can be happy where we are as we work towards where we want to be 👌
To being present in the moment 🥂
