Are you interested or committed?

interested or committed?

“If you’re interested, you do it only if it’s convenient. If you’re committed, you make it happen no matter what…”

Thinking of the dreams/goals you are working on ATM, are you interested in them or are you committed to them ? ๐Ÿค”

Those two words may seem the same but I believe that they are actually different. You see, the meaning we attach to words end up driving our behaviors. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

When we are interested in a goal, for example, we would pursue it only when it’s convenient. In other words, on facing the slightest obstacles, we would just bail out (coz we probably were just dabbling). On the other hand โœ‹๏ธ, when we’re are committed to a goal, we stick to making it happen no matter what ๐Ÿ˜ค .

The committed mindset is the ‘I must make this happen’ mindset because the cost/pain of not completing it outweighs anything else.
And the pleasure/outcome of achieving it is sensational ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

So, thinking about those dreams/goals that you’ve got in mind, which of them are you committed to making happen? ๐Ÿค”

To your committed self!!
